Hello, lovely readers! Happy June!! I canβt believe how fast May flew by. The first ten days of the month took forever, but then the days whirled by and suddenly I couldnβt keep track anymore.
Anywho! May was quite the productive month, so letβs dive right in!
Life Updates
- Somehow ended up with yet another rabbit. Someone dumped her at my work, and my coworkers spent four days chasing her through the fields before finally catching her and giving her to me. So now I have five rabbits π I should be giving her away soon, though.
- I turned 18! Aaaand now I’m an adult. It was a really chill day; I had my friends over for a sleepover and hung out with family afterwards. But it was lovely π©·
- For my grandma’s birthday, we went to the zoo! I hadn’t been for a while, and it was so much fun to see all the animals with my younger cousins. The foxes and the red panda were my favorites π
- Finished two of my classes and now I only have one more to go!! Senior year, here I come!
- Tried press-on nails again, and they actually stayed on longer than I expected.
- Celebrated Memorial Day with family. I worked all day, then came home to have a very yummy dinner with the fam. It reminds me how thankful I am that I live in this country.

Writing
Heh heh… soooooooo…
Project: Map has kinda failed.
Please don’t kill me.
But! Never fear. I felt called to continue with As Sure As The Snow Falls, and now I’m looking at it with fresh eyes. I revisited my Notion page for it, and the first thing I saw was this:

And so I’ve rededicated my time to writing ASATSF. I have so many ideas for it, and I can’t wait to share it with you!!
Reading
I just did an On The Bookshelf post about this, but I’ve fininished two books this month, Caraval and Borrow My Heart. I’ve rediscovered my love for reading, and I have been absolutely devouring Legendary. I am hoping June will be a great month for reading.
Music
FORREST FRANK HAS A NEW ALBUM????!!!!!!
*ahem*
B. I. G., FATHER’S HOUSE, and LIKE WATER. LISTEN TO THEM RIGHT NOW!!! Gosh, you can never go wrong with Forrest Frank. I am dying to go to his concert.
For Next Month…
June is going to be full of summer camps, so I’m not sure how much writing and reading I’ll be able to get done, but I’m hoping to at least finish the Caraval series. Hopefully I’ll be able to write a good portion of ASATSF, but we shall see!
How was your month?
Have a blessed day!
