This month has been so chill and fun! I can’t believe it’s over. Let’s dive in to this review!

Life Updates

  • threw my first galentines party! It was honestly so much fun, albeit stressful, to plan and throw. All of my friends were able to show up, including one of my friends from work, and it was so cool to be able to introduce her to the rest of the group! I definitely want to make it an annual thing 🙂
  • went on plenty of coffee dates with my sister and got lots of writing done together.
  • found new motivation for school, plus also realized that I might be able to graduate early!
  • read my first booktok book ðŸĪŠ
  • discovered my local bookstore has a Christian section (!?!?!?!?!!!!!!)
  • took lots of walks through tulip fields with ponies 🙃
  • had an impromptu worship night with my friend and my sister.
  • WENT TO DISNEY WITH MY FAMMMM!!! It was sooooo much fun and not at all stressful like I thought it’d be! The Lord really worked on my anxiety prior to going and I was able to have so much more fun this time around and I’m so grateful 💕 Going on Big Thunder Mountain three times was definitely my favorite!
  • got the cutest Eeyore sweatshirt while at Disneyland (and it didn’t cost a fortune…?????)
  • bought my first pajama set and where have these been my whole life????
  • started reading through the book of Colossians and can I just say it’s amazing.

(mostly just Finney the cat because she is so goshdang adorable)

Writing

I’ve laid ASATSF to rest for now, as I’m anticipating some major changes for the second draft. I’ve started writing my new WIP, which I will hopefully be introducing soon! It’s currently at 628 words (lol).

Reading

I read one book this month…!

(Please don’t hurt me)

Aaand that book was Powerless by Lauren Roberts. It was really good but I don’t know if it was worth the hype. I think I’m going to start a new post series called Reading Booktok Books So You Don’t Have To where I’ll include things like spice ratings, violence ratings, and spiritual ratings. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to see!

I’m also over halfway through with Calor. It’s really good (and I found my kindle charger!!!) but I’m focusing on finishing the Powerless series right now.

Music

  • Banks by Jordan Davis and NEEDTOBREATHE I absolutely love the vibes this song brings. The lyrics are so cute and it makes me so happy 💕
  • Roses and Wolves by Max McNown and Hailey Whitters This is such a beautiful song and the vibes are soooo perfect.
  • Atta Girl by Lainey Wilson This song is really sweet too.

For Next Month…

I really want to focus the most on my walk with Jesus. Lately I’ve been struggling with the feeling that I am not enough, and I know that the Lord wants me to lean on Him for answers.

I know I’ve been neglecting this blog, and I’ll try to post more this month, but I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself. If there are certain topics you want to see more of on here, please let me know!

Have a blessed day!

It would be interesting to read your reviews on booktok books, but I won’t encourage you to do it unless you know what you’re up against and think you can handle it without loosing faith. I know booktok can be a pretty dark and degenerate place, so be careful if you do delve into it.

I’m sure you already know that, but I figured I’d warn you if you don’t. It’s pretty easy to be sucked up by things you don’t know can suck you up. Forewarned is forearmed xD

Also, that’s so cool that you’re trying to get closer to God! I am too this month. I’m trying to spend 15 min with God 5 days a week all month just to get away from… business I guess.

Anyways, I’ll pray for you! And those pictures are so pretty!? How do you always make them look so serene and beautiful? You could totally be a photographer!

Thank you so much for your advice! Just last night actually (before I read your comment), I decided that I need to stop reading secular books until my faith is better grounded. I’m going to focus more on nonfiction and Christian fiction for the time being ðŸĐ·

I’ll be praying that the Lord draws near to you as you seek Him! And that sounds like a great idea! Currently, I try to read my devotion in the mornings and read my Bible before I go to bed, but I’m going to try to start reading my Bible in the morning too!

Haha, thank you so much! I’ve had my phone for a while… but I realized that I’m never really taking pictures with it, and here we are! Now I have a very full camera role ðŸĪŠ

Thank you so much for reading! 💕
