Welcome to another Month In Review post! This month has been an absolute roller coaster of a ride, so buckle up and I’ll take you on a tour through April!

Life Updates

  • went to Utah to snowboard with the fam! It was so much fun! My brother ended up hurting himself on the first day unfortunately, so it was just my mom and I for the last two days. We were still able to sled which was amazing!
  • witnessed my first ever cowboy duel (where two people face off with ropes and try to rope the other person’s feet) at work. I don’t know when my life became a movie, but seriously, it was the craziest scene.
  • celebrated Easter! It was a very chill and relaxing day.
  • Got a new Bible with lines to take notes in! I started a new study on the book of Luke, and so far it’s been very educational. The Lord has been giving me insight when I read His word, and it’s wonderful!
  • I started a Goodreads! You can check out my profile here. Honestly, I don’t really understand it yet and would love some suggestions 😅

Writing

Hehe, so I kinda just did a full post on my writing a few days ago, but I will say that Project: Map is going nicely! I only have 73 words right now (lol), but I can hear the characters in my head, and I already know that writing their interactions is going to be super easy. They’re the kind of group that writes themselves ðŸĪŠ

Reading

Since this month has been so busy, I was only able to finish two books: The Color Of A Horse’s Song and Sunrise On The Reaping (review for that coming soon… you do NOT want to miss it). However, I was able to start Caraval, which I had heard about many times before, and I finally picked it up. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG??? It’s really good so far.

(P.S… sorry about not making an On The Bookshelf this month! I had literally no time 😭)

Music

Lent may be over, but Christian music is still at an all-time high over here! Forrest Frank is my go-to artist, as usual. And he’s coming out with a new album soon??!! If you haven’t jumped on the Forrest Frank train, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed!!

For Next Month…

I want to get to (at least) 5,000 words with Project: Map. I am also hoping to finish Caraval, You’re Not Enough (And That’s Okay), and Eragon. But we will see where the next month takes me!

Thank you for reading! How was your month?

Have a blessed day!

Hey Cally May! What a fun month (and congrats on your new GR profile!). The cowboy duel sounds like fun too! My month went well (got busy for Easter and then a family friend’s b-day party which was fun lol.)

Hi!! Thank you so much! It was pretty hard to figure out lol!

It was super fun to watch! One of my coworkers even put on some intense western duel music haha. It completed the mood.

So glad your month went well! Easter does get busy! âĪïļ
